PROGRAMS
Since our beginning, our core principles have included community engagement and youth education and exposure to the wider world. We have been honored to partner with valued civic and educational institutions. Our current programs reflect the needs of youth and others to understand justice in its many forms, social, environmental and educational. Our youth have demonstrated a unique perspective on the importance of community. They strive to become leaders, and we commit to helping them get there.

SOCCER ROX 2020
Summer Scene will return to Marcella Park in the Summer of 2020 with Soccer Rox, our partnership with GOAL. Over 30 youth joined us as we celebrated building community through play. For pictures please review our Facebook and Instagram page. All activities are free, for all ages and open to the public.
GROW IT. COOK IT. SHARE IT.
It started with a simple idea: inter-generational meals. Over the last few years, Grow It Cook It Share It has blossomed into urban agriculture, culinary, food justice and nutrition programs. We employ youth and fully envelop them in the process.
They learn urban farming techniques from our staff and partners at the Haley House, Restoring Roots, and residents in the community. They develop healthy cooking habits with lessons from nutritionists and local chefs. Finally, they share these new skills with everyone in our community. What better way to make real lasting social change. GCS 2.0 will begin Spring 2020.
